Rockford Fosgate have been around for a very long time, and have mastered the art of making top-notch products conforming to the highest standard in terms of sound quality and reliability.

Rockford Fosgate offers a wide range of products including speakers, subwoofers, and amplifiers. Their products come in three main categories labeled “Prime”, “Punch”, and “Power”. Products in the “Prime” category are the entry-level components while those in the “Power” series are company’s high-end components. More of a middle-of-the-road line of products, the “Punch” series which offer a great value for the buck.

The P1675 speakers are some of the best 6.75 speakers in the Rockford Fosgate’s Punch line. These speakers are designed to be a high-grade replacement to factory-installed speakers. They’re featured with responsive polypropylene cones supported with butyl rubber surround that’ll stand up to hours of high-volume jams.

Rockford Fosgate Punch P1675 6-3/4″ speakers come with dome tweeters and supertweeters which provide clear, extended highs that can hold their own when the bass gets heavy.

These speakers are use an exclusive technique (VAST™ : Vertical Attach Surround Technique) to attach the surround to the cone that yields up to 25% more cone area, resulting in much fuller sound and stronger performance.

The P1675 speakers are rated for 89 dB in sensitivity rating and can handle up to 60 watts of power RMS. They’ll sound great running off of your headunit, but they’ll truly come into their own when powered by an external amplifier.

Unlike their Full-range speakers siblings we listed above, these speakers use and advanced design to give you the optimal sound quality. Their woofers, tweeters, and external crossovers are meant to be mounted separately from each other, but they’re designed to work smoothly with one another.

Component speakers are undeniably way better than coaxial speakers, but they are a bit expensive. They’re the way to go if you’re looking for premium sound, great soundstage and imaging.

Rockford Fosgate P1675-S are some of the best 6.75 component speakers that Rockford Fosgate has to offer. Each 6-3/4″ woofer on these speakers features a responsive polypropylene cone bonded to butyl rubber surround for linear cone movement and tighter bass. Their separate dome tweeters provide clear, extended highs that can hold their own when the bass gets heavy.

For easy installation, Rockford Fosgate has built the crossover into the woofer baskets so you don’t have to find an area to mount a separate box.

These speakers are featured with multiple slots around the frame which eliminate the need to redrill screw holes when the factory holes are just a little bit off.

Rockford Fosgate P1675-S component speakers are very well-built. They are rated for 92 dB sensitivity rating and can handle up to 60 watts RMS. They can hit as low as 55Hz and as far up as 22kHz.

You’re not going to get subwoofer level bass with these speakers. You’d get decent sound out of a factory or aftermarket headunit but hooking them up to an external amp will really lights them up to their full potential.

Kenwood KFC-1795PS 6.75This is another great-sounding pair of 6.75 speakers from Kenwood. These budget-friendly 6.75 speakers are designed from the ground up with sound quality in mind. So, if you’re looking to take your car sound system to the next level and Bring your music back to life without splurging on the most expensive pair of speakers, these speakers are for you.

Kenwood Performance KFC-1795PS 6-3/4″ 3-way speakers use a multi-driver design to provide you with articulate lows, clean vocals, and crisp highs.

They’re featured with water-resistant paper cones with a new radial rib pattern, which increases speaker strength and allows for more responsive bass. These cones are supported with rubber surround which further enhances durability and the overall performance, so you’ll be enjoying that fresh-from-the-box sound for many years to come.

Unlike 2-way speakers which comprise of woofers that handle low frequencies, and tweeters that are dedicated to the high frequencies, these 3 way speakers employ a third driver called “super-tweeter” which is a small driver dedicated to ultra-high-frequency reproduction.

These speakers feature a sensitivity rating of 88 dB and can handle up to 80 watts of power on continuous basis (RMS). They’ll sound great when powered by your receiver, but they’ll really shine when driven by an external amplifier.

The only downside to these speakers that we can reasonably think of is their relatively narrow frequency range. While most 6.75 speakers we listed here can hit as low as 50 Hz, the KFC-1795PS speakers can only reach 70 Hz. That’s not to say that the bass is missing, but if you don’t have subs and are looking for a pair of speakers that puts out a lot of bass, these speakers might not be for you.

The 40CS674 by Kicker is another great-sounding pair of 6.75 speakers that’s worth considering. These speakers were designed to get your sound system rockin’ without costing and arm and a leg.

They’re featured with 6-3/4″ polypropylene woofers supported with polyester foam surround that will stay strong for years to come. Additionally, these speakers come with 1/2″ PEI balanced dome tweeters which will take care of the vocal and instrumental details that’ll really bring your music to life.

Kicker 40CS674 6-3/4″ speakers have a sensitivity rating of 90 dB and can handle up to 100 watts of power RMS. That said, these speakers will sound great when powered by a factory radio or an aftermarket car stereo, and they’ll really rock when hooked up to an external amplifier.
